Hi, I’m an Associate Professor at the University of Connecticut, with appointments in both the Department of Political Science and the Human Rights Institute, where I’m Director of Graduate Studies.

My research focuses on violence against women, torture, human rights law, and assessing respect for human rights.

The subjects I teach include torture, international law, and human rights measurement & methodology.
